Pant End Farm & Holiday Cottages

Many of our guests comment on the peace , quiet and tranquillity of our cottages, no sirens, no motorway or traffic sounds, at night time the stars can be seen.

Feeling of wellbeing enhanced by watching our hens scattering along, listening to the curlews and watching the lambs cajole. At dusk bats are often seen and owls heard.

The A65 is two miles away, turn left and you can wiz down the road to Kirkby Lonsdale and go into the National Park and Dales. Settle, Skipton and Hawes are all worth a visit. The Goat Gap Cafe just past Ingleton is good for a snack or meal. Hawes is worth a day trip, go via Dent and come back through Ingleton. Hawes has a market, a rope museum, interesting shops and a red squirrel sanctuary.

Turn right on the A 65 and you arrive in Kendal, an interesting town with a renowned Natural History Museum, The Quaker Tapestry and an array of large and small shops, cafes and businesses.

The Lake District is a few miles north of Kendal. Enjoy driving through the Lakes with famous Wainwright walks and scenery, taking in a couple of passes, to Keswick, then zip back down the motorway in time for a relaxing meal in your cottage or one of the many pubs and restaurants in Kirkby Lonsdale.
